Rody N. Lopez

Director of Development and Communications

Rody N. Lopez was appointed as the Director of Development and Communications for QueensCare Health Centers (QHC) in late 2021. Formerly, he served as the Communications Manager for QHC since 2019. Rody is eager to partner with QHC Leadership, Board of Directors, colleagues, and community supporters to create a thriving culture of philanthropy.

Rody has dedicated his career to the non-profit sector, working for a wide range of organizations. Prior to joining QHC, Rody spent three years working for Para Los Niños (PLN), a multifaceted social services organization responding to the urgent needs of the children and families of Los Angeles. Before PLN, he held various positions with museums throughout Los Angeles County. His last appointment was Associate Director of Exhibitions at the Long Beach Museum of Art, where he managed all curatorial affairs and major fundraising events.

Rody holds an MFA in Exhibition Design from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), and a BA in Art from Pomona College. He has curated numerous critically acclaimed exhibitions, and recently authored his first book, Living with Clay: California Ceramics Collections, published by CSUF.
