This press conference will feature comments from California State Senator, María Elena Durazo, State Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, QueensCare Health Centers’ CEO Eloisa Perard, KEHIR Clinic’s CEO Erin Pak, and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights CEO, Angelica Salas.

QueensCare Health Centers (QHC) will celebrate the California Medi-Cal Expansion granting healthcare access for all, regardless of immigration status. It will also highlight the important work of the PRACTICE Grant Initiative focusing on addressing and mitigating Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress, and coincide with National Health Center Week, 2023.
Through a press conference, engaging workshops, preventative health screenings, resources, and giveaways, the event will raise awareness, celebrate, and foster collaboration among participants to ensure equitable healthcare access for all Californians.
