Join us this Saturday, 12/17 for QueensCare Health Centers first PRACTICE community educational event in collaboration with Hillsides and Blue Shield Promise Health Plan. The community class will offer multilingual education on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and the prevention of toxic stress and trauma-informed tools to create and support safe relationships and environments os, stable and enriching. We will be conducting stress relief activities* focused on exercise/physical activity.

*Future community classes will focus on mindfulness practices, nutrition and quality of sleep.

Prevention and Response to Health Conditions Associated with Adverse Experiences in Childhood (ACE) and Toxic Stress in Clinics through Community Engagement (PRACTICE).

The goal of PRACTICE is to increase the workforce and services needed for primary care clinics in California to expand and maintain detection and response to Childhood Adverse Experiences (ACE) and toxic stress in communities locals.

This program is funded in part by the Office of the Surgeon General of California (CA-OSG), UCLA-UCSF ACEs Aware Family Resilience Network (UCAAN) and Population Health Innovation Lab (PHIL), a program of the Public Health Institute (PHI).
