Holiday Cheer Brings LA Community Together To Benefit Those Less Fortunate
Hollywood Schoolhouse Students and QueensCare Donate Toiletry Kits and Provide Health Screenings to LA’s Homeless for the Holidays
WHO: QueensCare Health and Faith Partnership (QHFP) have partnered with the Hollywood Schoolhouse to help distribute donated toiletry kits to LA’s homeless this holiday season at LA First Church of the Nazarene.
WHAT: Parish Nurses from QueensCare’s Health & Faith Partnership will be handing out donated toiletry kits and providing free health screenings to members of the homeless community at LA First Church of the Nazarene on Dec. 19 between 9:00 – 11am. LA First Church of the Nazarene works throughout the year to provide showers and food to the homeless in Los Angeles. This event is a chance to further the efforts to serve communities experiencing homelessness by joining forces with unlikely partners.
VISUALS/INTERVIEW: QueensCare’s CEO Barbara Hines and CAO Eloisa Perard will be joining the church’s pastor and QHFP Parish Nurses handing out toiletry kits and providing health screenings to members of the Los Angeles homeless community.
