This Addition to QueensCare’s Mobile Dental Program Aims to Promote Greater Dental Health for LA Area Youth

Classrooms will be submitting their name for the MDU and individual students will be submitting their artwork to QueensCare for review and the winners will be announced at the Feb. 1 event. Classes that win the naming contest will have their choice of prize – classroom library renovation or stipend for field trip. Art contest winner will receive four (4) tickets to a Los Angeles Kings game and a signed puck.

The new QueensCare mobile dental unit is the largest in the country with a total of 960 sq. ft. of space. Manufactured by Odulair, the MDU has a total of six dental chairs and a x-ray room. The mobile dental program is one of QueensCare’s annual community health programs, which last year served more than 2,000 children, with 14,763 procedures performed at 11 Los Angeles area schools.
