Women’s Health Week Brings Awareness To Common Health Concerns For Women
Doctors Discuss the Importance of Regular Health Check-Ups and Screenings for Women
WHO: QueensCare Health Centers, a healthcare provider with five community health centers in Los Angeles is advocating for women to take a proactive approach to their health during the 19th Annual Women’s Health Week.
WHAT: May 13 – 19, 2018 is Women’s Health Week and is a chance to remind women of the importance of taking proactive efforts to put their health first and discuss the steps they can take to live a healthy and long life, including:
- Visiting their providers for a well-woman visit and preventative screenings
- Getting active
- Eating healthy
- Getting enough sleep
- Managing stress
- Avoiding unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking.
